Browning Auto 5 problems. I just picked up a 1950 Auto 5 that seems to have multiple problems. It won't eject fired shells and when you manually eject... the next shell feeds but the one in line afterwards dumps out the bottom. I was able to disassemble the gun and cleaned and oiled it well but it didn't help much.

Don't do it. I may catch a lot of flak for this but the Browning A5's made in the last 10-12 years have been horrible. Multiple cases of them being sent back to the factory for not cycling, Browning shipping people extractors, etc. If I'm paying damn near $2000 for a gun, it better damn well work out of the box.

Browning has a new bolt head and extractor. This is a new design got it from Mid West Gun works the part # B1182200A7 and it's cheaper than original. Gun works now no problems. The original bolt extractor has been discontinued.
